room for air
room for air makes a small, deliberate line: thirty-five pieces, mostly shirts, cut for movement.
The register is minimalist contemporary — near-black and bone, flat surfaces, seams placed where the garment needs to fold rather than where a pattern block says they go. Dropped shoulders and long bodies on the shirts. Raw denim on the trousers. A derby with the sole doing the talking.
Form and function, in that order.
